the board of leiden lacrosse
Leiden Lacrosse was founded on May 31, 2013. Since then, the association has
had fifteen boards. Together with our members they have built the
association into a sporty, cozy and close-knit club. Since June 2026, the
fifteenth board has been responsible for the ins and outs of the
association.
President – Sarah Vorndran
As president, I represent the association at municipal and university events. I lead club transitions and keep a pulse on tasks. I joined Leiden Lacrosse in 2017. Do you have a question and no idea who to ask? Then you should probably come to me!
Treasurer- Brooklyn Stam
As treasurer I take care of all things finance. I scope out subsidies and evaluate investments in material, promotion, and activities. As coach, I develop and lead trainings. I started playing lacrosse in the U.S. in 2005.
Secretary – Paula Martin
As secretary, I am the point of contact for the association and ensure that communication runs smoothly. You can always email me with any questions, both internal and external. I joined in 2025.
Head of Recruitment- Emi Speth
As head of recruitment, I plan promotional activities, open days, clinics, and introductions months. I care for the growth of the team. I first joined the team in 2024.
Head of Activities – Emma Allgeier
I am responsible for the activities and social cohesion within the team. I make sure members feel seen, heard, and bonded. I started playing in the UK in 2016.
Teammanager – Daphne Kubbinga
I keep close contact with the nationale lacrosse bond and other clubs. I plan gamedays, matches, and manage the referees. I first joined in 2018.
Committees: the Laxcie and the weekendcie
The LaxCie is the activities committee of Leiden Lacrosse. This committee organizes an activity every month, such as the annual date dinner, a laser tagevening or a borrel.
The WeekendCie organizes the club weekend, which is held annually at the end of June for all members of the association.
