THE TEAMS
Historically, Leiden Lacrosse has had up to two field women’s teams, one field men team, and box lacrossers. At the moment the club consists of one unified women’s team and a combi-men’s team.

LEIDEN LYNXES
Our Leiden Lynxes team came together in 2013 with a mix of experienced players and new talent. The focus of our team lies on consistent training, working together to form a coherent team and showing off those skills at competitions. Through dedication and a strong team spirit, our ladies team successfully moved up to 1st division of the national competition in the 2021/2022 season! They went back to the second division in 2025, focusing on creating a fun and welcoming team. Of course our ladies don’t just know how to work hard but also how to party. Leiden Lynxes, along with the club’s other teams, organize plenty of fun events, activities and spend a lot of time together outside of club obligations. They have formed a tight knit group of talented and ambitious players with long-lasting friendships. They train twice a week.

The storks
Formerly the Knights, now the Storks. The storks are the joint men’s team consisting of players from Leiden and The Hague. Together they compete in the second division. This collaboration is as old as time and one close to our hearts. They train stick-skills alongside the ladies or travel to the Hague for intensive high-contact practices.

Leiden Lynxes II Kaassoufflés
Between 2016-2025 we had a Ladies II team, lovingly nicknamed the Leiden Kaassoufflés. They valued camaraderie, good vibes and developing their lacrosse skills together above all else.

Box Lacrosse national team
Between 2023-2026 we had many box lacrossers on our team, who would play with the national team on weekends. They travel internationally for competitions. From 2024 onwards they also held box lacrosse practices at our club.

Netherlands Lacrosse B team
Throughout the years many of our players have played for the Dutch National B team. Dutch Leiden Lacrosse players can participate in the yearly national team selections.
